Active Directory Integration (LDAP Auth)

Callisto On-Premise supports integration with Active Directory for user authentication. This feature is enabled by a Callisto administrator in Administration - Settings - User management.

Check the Enable LDAP Authentication option.

The parameters below in the LDAP Settings page for domain name, user name and password are optional, if you want to ensure a user account (rather than the Callisto server computer account) is used to perform AD lookup, or you need to reference a domain different to the Callisto server host domain, you can add some details here. Otherwise, they can all be left blank.

You can now log in with your Active Directory UPN, e.g. If this is your first time logging in to Callisto you will receive whatever role is assigned as "default". If you have previously logged in to Callisto you will keep whatever permissions you had previously.

You can read more about assigning roles to AD Groups and more options in this article Active Directory Group Authentication - Callisto (
